We suggest you run Video Enhance AI on high-end Nvidia graphic cards. The minimum requirement is GTX 1050 with 4 GB VRAM. Any graphic card later/better than GTX 1080 (included) will do a fairly fast job.
If you do not have an Nvidia graphics card in your device, the software can run on your Intel iGPU. Typically, it will be 5 times slower. If you do not have an Intel iGPU, the software will finally fall back to your CPU, which can be 10 times slower than the Nvidia GPU version.

Internet Access
All current Topaz Labs apps require an internet connection for user authentication and/or AI model downloading & updates.
The system requirements for Video Enhance AI are slightly different than the system requirements for our photography applications. Many of the requirements are the same or similar to our AI-based image applications, but there are some requirements unique to Video Enhance AI that may be more stringent.

When the program starts you need to go to the top and click to login and then login without a username or password and it will work. I had the same issue, damn near thought I installed a virus

It can be used, just delete the version.dll in the installation folder and it will not crash

If anyone is still having issues with it not being registered, just log-in without any details and it should work. No need to delete version.dll or whatever.
For those who are having issues with Crash on Starup. Try the following:
1. Do a clean install, check for any previous versions and uninstall/delete all related files.
2. Go to C: Drive, Windows Folder > System 32 > Driver > etc > host. Open this file using the notepad app.
3. In all possibilities there is a topaz URL or address in the file that is blocking the network connection.
4. Delete that line on the host file. Anything that reads Topaz, Topaz-Labs… all of them.
5. Save file and try starting the Application now.

Do you have to have a gpu in your pc? Because I have like an old windows one and it doesn’t have a gpu.
It might theoretically work without a dedicated GPU, but the results (if you get any at all) would be horrible. You would be waiting an extremely long time for just 1 render, and with this software, it requires lots of tweaking of the settings before you get the look you want. I have a Ryzen 8-core processor and a 3070 Ti and let me tell you, some of the renders take quite a long time.

Hi I downloaded the registered silent install repack and so far the app kept closing out so I deleted the “version.dll” and then I finally got in but everytime I start processing it’s stuck at “Preparing AI Model” for a long time. I even turned on the internet connection and it’s still taking forever. Please help.

Hi. I’m new here. What is the linked password on this page for? It looks like an archive file password but it seems 100% pointless when all the exe file does(even with security disabled) is redirect back to the homepage of this website. My preferred software crack method is replacing the original program exe with a modified one. I wish you guys would do that instead of having us risk the security of our machines with a file that malfunctions more than it helps. *

Since I haven’t seen any thorough instruction on how to log in once you download Topaz on Windows, I will help. It is very simple. Once the Topaz Video Enhancer AI Application is opened, you are going to want to go to ‘Account’ in the top left, and choose log in. The log-in needed is:
User: CyberMedia
Password: CyberMedia
